Azure Active Directory
Central to the Microsoft Modern Workplace is Azure Active Directory. The integration between Azure AD and Microsoft Intune allows you to implement access controls to strengthen security. For example, you can use Conditional Access Policies to ensure devices are compliant before granting access to company resources.
Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management solution for managing mobile
devices like iOS, Android and the Modern -Workplace based on Windows 11. With Microsoft Intune you can automate policy deployment for apps, security, device configuration, compliance, conditional access, and more. Microsoft Intune enables end users to work securely regardless of
location or device.
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Microsoft Intune provides Mobile Device Management (MDM) as well as Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions. MAM is different from MDM because it does not need control over the device. With Microsoft Intune, you can easily manage endpoints across the most popular platforms without losing sight of end user privacy. For example, it enables you to selectively wipe corporate data without ever touching personal data.
Information Protection
Staying in control of your sensitive data is hard enough and with BYOD devices, the challenges are even more complex. Microsoft Purview Information Protection helps protect content in Office apps on various platforms and devices and can even encrypt email messages and attached documents. Combined with Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) you can also prevent accidental sharing of sensitive information (internal or external).
Zero Trust Security strategy
Zero trust is not a service or tool. It’s a strategy. With Zero Trust you protect your organisation against the cyber threats of the future. Microsofts Zero Trust principles are based on: Verify explicitly, Use Least privileged access and Assume breach. Zero Trust eliminates the concept of trust based on network location (behind the firewall) and teaches us to “never trust, always verify.”
